The loss of a beloved pet companion can be just as hard as losing a human friend or family member. Sometimes pets are all the family that some people have had. There may have been a deep bond between human and pet and each truly loved and cherished each other. It is just as important to take care of yourself when a pet dies as when you lose a human family member - even more so because non pet owners might not understand your grief.
One way to take care of yourself is to make a memorial.
A memorial is a wonderful way to remember a lost pet. It is a place to keep alive the memory of your special bond with your pet. A memory page helps with the grieving process. We make it easy to make an online memorial.

Nibbler was such a distinct hedgehog. She loved belly rubs, she loved it when you petted her head, and she adored it when you held her paw. She was so absolutely spoiled with treats and love. She was dearly beloved by both my husband and I and I am so sad to say that she has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Oddly enough Jessica and I found Stretch at the pet store. I had to have him because his color makings were just so close to Georgia, our doggie. Stretch got his name from stroking him down his back he would stretch out as far as he could and yawn. Georgia and Stretch got close and I know she misses him as much as I do.
The most precious bunny ever. A part of me went with you. Love, Kathy and Judy

My precious lovebun. Your gorgeous face and sparkling personality are so missed. I love you so.
My wife has had guinea pigs nonstop since she was seven years old. I have never been a pet person until I met my wife and saw her guinea pigs. Perrywinkle was my first experience with guineas. My wife never had a pig live past 6 years, but with Winkle, living 8 1/2, gave my wife love.
